Megan Fox will publish her first book of poetry
Megan Fox has announced the upcoming publication of her poetry collection.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the “Transformers” star revealed she’s written a book called “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.” “I wrote a book,” she captioned a photo of the cover of her collection of poems, showing a mouth biting a snake. These poems were written in an attempt to excise the disease that had taken root in me because of my silence.
Published by Simon & Schuster, the book is scheduled for release on November 7. “I’ve spent my whole life keeping secrets from men, my body hurts to bear the weight of their sins,” she continued. My freedom lives within these pages and I hope my words can inspire others to reclaim their happiness and identity by using their voices to illuminate what has been buried, but not forgotten, in darkness.”
On the publisher’s website, representatives from Simon & Schuster promised that Megan Fox’s humor would be present throughout the “heartbreaking and dark” collection. “With over seventy poems, Fox tells all the ways we take on the shape of those we love, even if it means losing ourselves in doing so,” they added. “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous” marks the powerful debut of one of the most recognizable women of our time. Turn the page, bite the apple, and sink your teeth into the most deliciously captivating and addictive book you’ll read this year.”
