Angelina Jolie Does The Electric Slide As Her Daughter Is Accepted Into College

Angelina Jolie is one proud mommy. The Oscar-winning actress took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal where her daughter Zahara will be attending college.

Zahara Jolie-Pitt Will Be Attending Historically Black Spelman College

The 47-year-old actress posted a photo of her daughter Zahara, 17, along with a few of her new classmates. “Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl,” Jolie wrote in the caption for her 13.4 million followers.

The cute snap showed Zahara crouching in the center while posing with Spelman College students.

Spelman College was founded in 1881 in Atlanta, Georgia. The private, historically black women’s liberal arts college is the oldest private HBCU liberal arts college for women in the US. Jolie adopted Zahara in 2005 from an orphanage in Ethiopia. She was later adopted by Jolie’s ex-husband actor Brad Pitt, 58. They are also parents to Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Shiloh, 16 and 14-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Jolie and Pitt split six years ago and he was declared legally single three years ago amid a bitter custody battle for their children. Angelina Jolie now has sole custody of the minor kids, with Brad Pitt getting visitation rights.

More videos from Zahara’s visit to her new college saw Angelina Jolie being taught the “electric slide” dance. The actress fell in line with the rest of the group, while Cameo’s “Candy” rang out. The actress tried her best but in the accepted defeat end fell out of line and hugged her daughter. However, onlookers gave the Girl, Interrupted actress her props for trying.

Angelina Jolie Is Writing, Directing And Producing A New Film

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie has been very busy in Europe directing her new film Without Blood, based on the international-bestselling novel of the same name by Italian writer Alessandro Baricco, 64.

The mom-of-six is set to write, direct and produce the film starring Oscar-nominated actress Salma Hayek, 55, and Mexican actor Demián Bichir, 59.
