Let’s go way back to the start of Gigi and Kendall’s relationship. According to Cheat Sheet, the two first connected, as most teenagers do, on social media. Kendall actually connected with Gigi’s younger sister Bella, and then got to know Gigi that way.
Born in November 1996, Kendall is less than a year younger than Gigi and less than a year older than Bella, and has remained friends with them both as the three girls have each carved out successful modeling careers for themselves.

There are many similarities between Kendall and Gigi that have no doubt helped their friendship to flourish over the years.
While Gigi was born in Santa Barbara and then lived in Beverly Hills, Kendall was raised in nearby Calabasas. They both had parents and relatives in the spotlight, with Gigi’s mom Yolanda, a former supermodel, and Kendall’s dad, Caitlyn Jenner, an Olympic gold medallist.

According to Grazia, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid may actually be (very loosely) related. Gigi is the daughter of Yolanda and Mohamed Hadid. In 2011, Yolanda married David Foster, who was married to Linda Thompson between 1991 and 2005. So how does that make her related to Kendall?
Linda Thompson was married to Caitlyn Jenner, Kendall’s father. The two divorced in 1986, before Kendall was born. To make matters more complicated, Yolanda Hadid divorced David Foster in 2017.
